San Diego Office Continues Growth Momentum: Litigator Todd Kinnear Joins Gresham Savage

February 8, 2016

Gresham Savage adds new litigator, Todd Kinnear, to their San Diego office. With 16 years of experience, Mr. Kinnear will bolster the firm’s employment, real estate and civil litigation practice.

As the sole litigator in the San Diego office, Mr. Kinnear looks forward to a mutually beneficial partnership. “It just seemed like a really good fit for me. It’s an opportunity for me to fill a gap at this firm, expand my own business and grow the office and what we do here,” he said.

The firm’s San Diego office, which opened in 2011, focuses on all aspects of real estate, from acquiring and developing large-scale retail projects, to financing, leasing and disposing of improved property. Mr. Kinnear will join nine other lawyers, including Shareholder Lina Ericsson, who heads the San Diego office. Ms. Ericsson, who previously worked with Mr. Kinnear at Luce Forward, said she expects he will be a valuable asset to the growing office. “Todd has been involved in all aspects of business and real estate litigation across the country and will be a noteworthy resource for our clients,” she commented.

Ted Stream, Shareholder and Chair of the Litigation Practice Group, comments, “Our team of now 23 litigators is continuing to grow. Todd’s wealth of experience and unparalleled reputation is exactly the kind of attorney we look for. We are thrilled to have Todd join our litigation team.”

Mr. Kinnear joined the firm from Gordon & Rees LLP, where he was a partner in its commercial litigation and employment practice groups. He will maintain his focus on defending companies, their leaders and others in employment suits, and will continue to work in real estate and general civil litigation.

Mr. Kinnear earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, and his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University
