We are seeking a business/tax attorney with 3–5 years of experience, for its San Bernardino office.

This position requires strong tax knowledge and the successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in multiple aspects of tax law, including 1031 exchanges, corporate taxation, personal taxation, real property taxation including appeals, and tax resolutions.
  • LLM in taxation preferred.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.

WATER RESOURCES ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Gresham|Savage, a 110+ year old mid-size firm with sterling clientele, including multiple Fortune 100 Companies, seeks a Water Resources Associate Attorney to join our thriving Water Law practice.  Demand for these services is consistently increasing.  Unlike traditional firms, the firm offers a dynamic pay structure, enhanced flexibility, and earlier and greater case responsibility.

Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of experience in California water, natural resources, land use law, or related fields and some litigation experience.  Candidates should have experience or commitment to practice in the following areas:

  • Groundwater rights and groundwater basin adjudications
  • Sustainable Groundwater Management Act
  • Water right transfers and related transactions
  • Water Supply Assessments
  • Urban Water Management Plans
  • Administrative permitting and regulatory compliance processes with State and Regional Water Resources Control Boards
  • Surface water rights
  • CEQA / NEPA
  • Representation of private sector entities (e.g., mutual water companies, mining companies, developers, landowners, golf courses, cemeteries and other entities with water and natural resources needs) and public water agencies

Experience and interest in the following areas is also a plus:

  • Mining and Reclamation law
  • Land Use
